    The landlords long ago were very hard on the people, they used to deprive them of their houses and land and give them to other people.
    The name of the Landlord in Killaderra was General Kelly. He made the people pay tax and rent. He had a lot of servants working for him and he paid them only a small sum of money. The people were very poor at that time and were not able to pay.
