    Bread Making
    Long ago the people used to make boxty-bread, potato bread, and oaten meal bread. They used to make boxty bread with potatoes, some of them boiled, and some of them raw. They used to scrape the potatoes with a scraper they used to mix the raw potatoes and the boiled ones together and bake on a griddle.
    The oaten meal bread was made of oaten meal and water and breadsoda and baked on a griddle.
