    Local Marriage Customs.
    The time of the year that people usually get married is in Shrove-time.
    There are certain times of the year when people can not get married such as Lent and Advent. When people are getting married they have to give money, in other times the people used to give cows and horses as wedding gifts. People who get married generally give a wedding or a party in which there is great sport singing
