  1. There are three forges in this parish. There are two Dysart and one on the side of the road between Ballyforan and Fourroads. The names of the blacksmiths are Reilly, Mulligan, Donahoe,. There is a wooden roof on one of the forges and sheetiron and slates on the other two forges.
    There are double doors on the forges in this Parish as there usually is in all forges. The reason, is to allow all sizes of horses to pass in to get shod.
    There are tools used in the forge such as the anvil,
