    Most of the travelling folk that come to this district are called gipsies and tinkers. They usually come here on a fair day. They nearly always camp near a wood because they can gather the twigs and branches to make their fires and they can also cut branches from the trees and make little tables which they sell at one shilling. Some of them (sell) travel in caravans but some of the poores people travel in carts and some of them on foot. Some of them carry large baskets in which
