    I live in the village of Turpane in the parish of Taughboy in the Barony of Athlone in the County Roscommon. There were a lot more houses in the village in olden times than now. There are eighteen houses in the village and the name most common is Naughton. There are sixty four people in our village. There were less people in it long ago. There are three old people
