  1. Shops were not plentiful in olden times. The people who had shops long ago used to have the shops open on Sundays but now they don't be open only the stall for meat. The people had not much tea or sugar or flour. One farmer gave a cock of hay for a cock of straw.
    There used to be a four penny bit and a ten penny bit out long ago but now there is only a sixpenny bit.
