  1. There was once a hare in Corr a' Muitinn and she was half white and half black. One day Tom Quinn from near Tuam was hunting and he had a gun. When he saw the hare he shot at her but he missed her. He followed her all through the bog until he saw a little house and he saw the hare going into it. When he looked into it it was an old woman who was there. She put him a lot of questions and she was going to put a spell on him but she did not.
