  1. When the workmen in Dalgan were cleaning a piece of ground where they were going to build a byre. At one end of the piece of ground they found a number of human bones and a skeleton when they were a foot from the ground. An old man told them that there had been a fight in that field one time. He was surprised when they did not get other war instruments. Then they put back the bones and skeleton's and buried them and did not build the byre in that place on account of the dead men's bones.
