  1. When a man of the name of O Malley in Corthom was ,di, digging an old sandpit and he found a bag of old coins. He cleaned them and found they were old pennies dating back to the fifteenth century. He sold them to a man in Tuam for two pound's. The man in Tuam sent them to the Museum.
