  1. Old crafts.
    There were no creameries long ago, they milked the cows every morning and evening and put the milk into pans for a few days. They would then skim the milk with skimmers and put the cream into a churn they would keep beating the cream with the staff until the cream broke and turned in to butter. They would then take the butter out and wash it with cold water and salt it and put it into firkins and sell it in the towns. If any persons came in that day while they would be
