    early in the morning, they hardly waited until daylight, they used to work a few hours before breakfast. In very ancient times their breakfast consisted of potatoes and milk, and for dinner they had potatoes and fish, they got little or no meat, but in later times they had tea for breakfast and meat once or twice a week.
    When their week's worth was done the farmer paid them and they supported themselves with this money during winter.
