    Then they took out the candle by catching the thread called the wick. Then the candle was fit for use.
    Other people went to the bog, and cut "Bog dale", they dried it over the fire, they kept it (over) lighting in turn in their hands during the night. They cut the wood into splinters so they gave good light to all who were in the house.
