  1. To the north of Ballyheigue, in a place called Glendahalin, there is a well known as Tobar na Súl, in connection with which there is a legend.
    On the slope of the steep glen over looking the well, may be seen an old ruin covered with ivy. This the legend states is the ruin of a Convent founded by Saint Dahalen the patron saint of the district.
