    Potatoe-cake was made. and oaten-meal. about a quarter potatoes and three-quarters flour.
    Milk is used in kneading.
    Some put a cross and more put two strokes on bread.
    An oven is the name given to vessel which bread was made.
    I don't know whether bread was baked in front of the fire.
    Griddle- bread was made.
    I don't know if any special kind of bread was made for any occasion.
