  1. The most harmful weeds growing on the farm are preshaugh weed, robin run the hedge, spunk, thistle, groundsell, tansy, and red poppies.
    They are harmful because they spread quickly, and the preshaugh weed, thistle and spunk impoverish the soil.
    The spunk, and thistle, are chiefly found in poor soil. Some weeds and herbs are useful for medicine. The yarra plant when boiled is good for back ache.
