  1. There are fairs held in Listowel every other Wednesday. There are cattle, sheep and bonhams sold at the fairs. The three biggest fairs of the year are held on May 13th, July 25th October 28th. This fair is called the November fair as perhaps it may have been held in this month years ago.
    There is a fair held in Causeway and it is called the Fair of the Cross. It is held three weeks and three days before Christmas. A toll is paid to Lord Listowel at the Listowel fair. They have to pay two pence
