  1. St Brigids day. There is a wooden cross maid and put up in the rafter in order to honour St Brigid.
    St Patricks day We pick the Shamrick from the railway line. Some men wear it in there coats but the older men put it in there hats.
    Shrove is the time for people getting married where they would a crowd of boys dress up then used to call them sopper. They used to sing and dance and they used to get drink.
    Ash Wednesday long ago there used be no milk allowed in the tea or butter or eggs.
