  1. There is a well between Abbeydorney and Causeway. Once when a priest was saying Mass there soldiers came on with blood-hounds. The priest and the people thought that they were caught. Three weathers sprang up from the well and ran towards the sea and the priest and the people escaped. There is a mass rock at Weathers' well.
