  1. From Christmas to Shrove Tuesday people get married. To marry during Lent or on a Friday is not right. After the marriage the young man would have a dance and all the people of the place would come and they would have a weding feast. They would have a lot of drink. Sappers go round to marriages. The beliaf is to wear something old something new something borrowed and something blue.
