  1. The people long ago usually ate three meals a day, breakfast, dinner and supper. Breakfast at six in the morning, dinner at twelve in the day and supper at eight at night. Some people went working in the morning before they ate their breakfast and more people would eat their breakfast in the morning before they went working. They used to eat potatoes and salt and milk for their breakfast and for their dinner and sometime for their supper. The neighbour would help the farmers to put in the harvest. The farmers
