    in poor land and ferns and mínscoth and buachallán. Some people used to use nettle as a vegetable. The yellow root is growing on the banks of rivers and it is deadly poison. The herb the people used long ago for dying articles is called robin-run-the-hedge.
    Children were cured of the jaundice by an herb called the blue-bell. Briars grow in land and are very harmful and they yield fruit which makes jam. Elder-berry grows in the landand it maked beautiful wine, and beer is made out of an herb called hops. Water cress grows
