“Once there was a king!”
(continued from previous page)the giant said that he was only codding him, the boy said that that was his form of praying. How would that be your form of praying said the giant. I am calling the Angels and Saints from Heaven to take my body with them to Heaven when you kill me. Call me said the giant when you are ready. The boy whistled again and his dogs came to him. He got a long rope and let it down to the ground the fox and tiger tangled themselves up in the rope and the boy pulled them up. The lion stood at the door. When all was ready the boy called the giant. When he saw the dogs he ran out the door the lion caught him and killed him.
They were about to eat him but the boy told them not to.(continues on next page)
