  1. There are many kinds of travelling people in the district. Certain times of the year the travelling people come around a few days before big fairs and stay at Coolnaleen Cross. The tinkers go in bands, made up sometimes of a couple of families. In my district the tinkers stay for three days and during that time they go around selling tables and other small articles.
