- These are the wild birds we have in our district:- Blackbird, Thrush, Robin, Crow, Parrett, Wren, Sea-gull and the Curlew.
The Blackbird builds her nest in a ditch. It is made of mud and lined with hair. She lays about four blue eggs. The Blackbird stays with us all the year arround.
The Thrush builds her nest in a hedge. It is made of mud and lined with feathers. She lays about five white eggs with black spots. This bird stays with us all the year arround.
The Robin builds her nest in a hole in a ditch. It is made of moss hair. She lays about five or six eggs. This bird(continues on next page)- Collector
