  1. These are the wild birds we have in our district:- Blackbird, Thrush, Robin, Crow, Parrett, Wren, Sea-gull and the Curlew.
    The Blackbird builds her nest in a ditch. It is made of mud and lined with hair. She lays about four blue eggs. The Blackbird stays with us all the year arround.
    The Thrush builds her nest in a hedge. It is made of mud and lined with feathers. She lays about five white eggs with black spots. This bird stays with us all the year arround.
