  1. In the year 1839 there was a great storm here in Ireland and it killed people and knocked houses and killed animals and did great damage everywhere.
There was lightning there about a year ago and it killed cows and horses in Banmore Hill belonging to a man named Reilihan. There was a big flood in June 1926 and it went into our house and all the houses around the place. It carried a rick of turf and hay belonging to us. It carried an acre of land from Tom Lyons and his turf and hay and oats.
The last snowfall we had was about three feet high and most of the animals that were out died. Since that time we had no snowfall of any account.
