  1. Last Tuesday, and Wednesday and Thursday Listowel Races were held. I was there one day and that was the second day. The races last year were better than this year. There were more plays in the markets this year than ever before.
    I enjoyed the races very well. The two first days were very fine and although the last day was raining and it became fine in the evening. Listowel Races are the best races in this district. The town is always decorated for the races.
