  1. How to make a crib. The frame is made of laths. There are two laths put crossway and and two other laths are tacked across them. Then I get a bundle of sally sticks fore little twiga and put them around each corner and carry them to a point and plaited them and the strong rods are put in through them until they are carried to point on the top.
    Home made tops. It used to be a customary thing for the people long ago to make tops out of thread spools. Out end of the spool used to be paned and rounded. A piece of steel was driven through the spool so that it would spin.
