  1. There is a holy well between Causeway and Odorney. There is a Mass rock there. A priest was saying Mass there during the penal times. The people gathered round him and the soldiers and the blood hounds came on. The priest and the people thought they were caught. Then three weathers sprang from the ground and ran towards the sea. The bloodhounds followed them and the people and the priest escaped.
