  1. (continued from previous page)
On last Monday our new school opened in Killocrim. The opening ceremony was performed by The Very Rev. Canon Fitzgerald. All our parents were here that morning. It is situated in a lovely place near the river Feale. The front of it is turned to the back. There are three windows at the front of it. It is a very warm school.
It is the first time I was in a mixed school. There are 36 boys and 34 girls. There are two class-rooms and two cloak rooms in it. There is a picture of St Thérèse and a crucifix hanging on the wall.
