    lined with feathers. She lays six eggs and they are white with brown spots. This is how the robbin got her red breast:- When Our Lord was dying on the cross she tried to take the crown of thorns off his head and a drop of blood fell on her breast.
    The wren builds her nest in the thatch of a house. The nest is made of moss and lined with feathers. She lays about twelve eggs and they are white eggs with black spots.
    The blackbird builds her nest in the side of a ditch. It is made of sops of hay and lined with feathers. Her eggs are blue in colour.
