  1. There was a very big flood in June 1926. It went up into Finnuge. It knocked two houses. It went into James Stack's and flooded all the place. It took off cattle, sheep and other animals. It wa sfive feet from the ground. It carried off slates. It knocked ditches and knocked trees more especially sheep. At that time also we were very subject to snow storms.
