  1. The net fishing season opened on April 1st. Many of the people in the district go fishing with boats. The boats are made of timber and then tarred. The tar has to be boiled and the boat is to be tarred. Also the nets are tarred and they have to be left for a few days to dry. On the night on which the season opens the people sprinkle holy water on the nets and on their boats also. They take a bottle of holy water with them in their boats. Also medals and holy badges are put on the boats.
