  1. In the country, farmers would not start ploughing on a Saturday. They say that the work would never be finished.
    A person would not start building a house on a Monday. He would wait until Tuesday.
    The people round this district would not change from one house to another on a Friday or Monday. They would either go on a Tuesday or Saturday.
    Long ago it was a custom by the old people to set the oats, barley and wheet on a Wednesday in February.
