  1. The Landlord of our district was Mr. Hewson. Hewson was only a land owner and he was very unkind to the people around here. Hewson had many tenants under him and he evicted many of them. Lord Listowel agents were very cruel but himself was a very good man. Some of the people Hewson evicted went to America, others went to Listowel to live there.
