- In the year 1903 we had a great storm. It did great damage. It knocked trees, and it blew down many houses. A red light was seen in the sky before the storm.
We had a terrible thunder storm in the year 1935. It raged all over our district. We had thunder and lightning about forty years ago and a big fall of rain far about twenty four hours that drowned all places around our district. The lightning we had killed cows, and horses.
We had a very heavy fall of snow in 1915. It was four or five feet high and the people had to be shoveling it away all day. The train was held up for a couple of hours on account of it.(continues on next page)- Collector
