  1. There is a station at Bumore Well every year on the fifteenth of August. When the people go back to the well they take off their shoes and wash their feet and hands and their face. Then they go down on their knees and say seven our fathers, seven hail Mary's and seven holy Mary's and the creed. Then they take seven stones and while they are going round the well they throw away one of the stones into the well. Then when they have that done they go down on their knees again and say the same prayers again. A great many people used be at the well. It is not much good for the people to be going to the well
