White David
In olden times there lived a highwayman named White David. He made his home for the most part on Sliav Carr, a high mountain between Ballycroy and Tirawley. He used go all over the country robbing and plundering and when he used get gold or other valuable dewelry he used bring them and store them in a cave at the back of the hill. When he used be chased by the people or the English soldiers he used make for a lake and swim to an island in(continues on next page)
