  1. There is an old school in Seefin. It was a man that taught the pupils His name was Mr. Byrne. They did little sums and spoke Irish. The people were from the district. The master used go around with them and stay a night with them. Every three months the pupils payed three shillings in penny's. The children had stools to sit on. The school children
