  1. Once up on a time a man named Pat Malley of Ballagorman saw a water horse. He went near him and he jumped in to Ballin-lough lake. Another man got a water horse and he put shoes on him and he ploughed and harrowed him. One day he went to the river to give him a drink and when he brought him to the river he jumped in to the river and he never saw him again.
