  1. When Saint Patrick was in Ireland he came to a small village called Aughagower. There was a very wicked chief in it and he always had two hounds. When Saint Patrick was coming towards him he set his two hounds on him. When the hounds were coming near Saint Patrick he made the sign of the cross on the ground. As soon as he did that the two hounds were swallowed. Since that they call that place Cluan Da Chon.
