  1. In olden times when people got married, the bride and bride groom used to ride home on horse-back. A lot of other people used to be riding on horse-back also, and they used to have a racing match home. When they used to go home they had great feating. Then the straw-boys came. There were about thirty. They were dressed in old clothes and old veils on their faces, and straw round their hats, and legs. There was one of them dressed like a woman.
