  1. There was once a man living in village name Gorrow, a little village in the parish of Aughagower. One day he left his mare grazing by the side of a lake until it was dusk. When he went out for his mare he came up to a water horse and thinking it was his own mare he put on the halter and went riding. The horse galloped to the lake and the man had just jumped off the horse when the horse dived into the lake again
