“One night a man was coming home from visit and he heard a car coming behind him...”
(continued from previous page)he looked behind him and he saw a lorry but it was the cóiste bodhar. He had a black thorn stick in his hand and he made the sign of the cross in the road with his stick. When the cóiste bodhar came as far as the cross on the road it disapeared. Soon after this the man died.- The people long ago used have potatoes three times a day, they used have them for their breakfast, their dinner, and their supper. They used have oatmeal cakes some times and potatoe cakes.(continues on next page)
