    St Bridgets Day. A number of the children go around with the Brideóg on that day in honour of St. Bridget.
    May Day: The people of the parish never goes for milk, or if they do they should put a drop of water in it. They also tie pieces of red cloth to the cows tail so that the fairies would not bring them.
