  1. There is an old fort in front of our house named Cathair Donca Ruadh. Donca Ruadh was one of Irelands most famous fighting men.
    There is another old fort above Kilcolgan named Cathair Peac; it was a great fort.
    The Irish people used hide in the Cathairs long ago when Ireland was plundered by Danes and Normans. Old people say there is money and beds and chairs in these forts yet.
