  1. 1. The landlords of this district were St Georges, Reddingtons, and Blakes. To become landlords they fought battles. The Blakes lived in Cloughballymore in the parish of Ballindereen, the St Georges lived in Tyrone house in the parish of Ballindereen also and the Reddingtons lived in the parish of Clarenbridge.
    When the time for paying the rend used come they would give the money to an agent in their district. Then the agent would give it to the landlords. If the
