  2. Bread
    Long ago the people made their own flour and bread. First they sowed the seed then in the autaumn they cut the corn with a hook. Next they threshed the corn by beating it against a large stone. Then they ground it with a quarn and made the cakes on a griddle. These were far wholesome than the cakes we eat now
