    There was once a shop-keeper in Tuam who used always give wrong weights and weights.

    One day as he was given bread to a poor person he was struck with paralysis and he died soon after. About a month after, as that poor person was near the sea- shore a man came over the water and said "weights and measures" is the cause of my pain. Oh Lord deliver me from the watery main.
