    There was once a man who was very fond of fowling in the night.

    There was once a man who was very fond of fowling in the night. One night he tried to shoot a spirit that he used to meet constantly. She followed him and he asked a friend how would he kill her. He said get a coin with a cross on it. He got the coin and went the next night and fired at her. Next morning he went again and there was a heap of frogs on the ground. He head someone crying. He was going to fire when the spirit cried "Don't shoot me as you shot my mother last night
